Some months, the nature walk doesn't happen.

The story you meant to read stays on the shelf. The craft idea you saved gets buried in your camera roll. And before you know it, it's bathtime, the screens are off and you're wondering where the afternoon went.

You're not doing it wrong. You're just tired. And tired parents need things that work without effort.

The Little Sprouts Letter is that thing.

WHAT IT IS

Once a month, a flat envelope lands on your mat. Letterbox friendly. No missed deliveries. No planning. No trip to a craft shop.

Inside: a piece of Irish seasonal folklore, a craft activity for little hands and a recipe from the Irish seasons all written by a solo Irish founder who grew up with her hands in the soil and her head full of old stories.

It ships worldwide. It fits through any letterbox. And it's ready to open the second it arrives.

A story. A craft. A recipe. Every month. From Ireland to your door.

THIS MONTH'S LETTER — THROUGH THE HAWTHORN GATE

May's Letter has just been revealed.

This month, we followed Clíodhna, one of Ireland's most beloved figures from the otherworld, through the hawthorn gate and into her garden. Hawthorn blooms in May in Ireland and for centuries it's been said that stepping through a hawthorn arch is how you cross into the land of the fairies. Clíodhna's story is old, beautiful and belongs to every child.

Inside the May Letter your little one discovered:

  • 📜 Clíodhna's Garden — an Irish folklore story rooted in the magic of the hawthorn season
  • 🎨 A seasonal craft activity — designed for small hands, no mess, no special equipment
  • 🍽️ A recipe from the Irish seasons — simple enough for kids to help with

JUNE'S LETTER IS COMING

I'm keeping June's contents secret until 1st June. That's part of the magic, a mystery that arrives by post.

What I can tell you: June follows the Irish seasonal calendar into early summer. There's a folklore figure waiting. A craft that fits in a kitchen. A recipe your child can help make.

Subscribe now and June's Letter will be on its way to you before the reveal.

WHO IS THIS FOR?

Families outside Ireland — bringing Irish seasonal folklore to your home whether you're in London, Toronto, Sydney or anywhere in between

Flat and apartment living — no garden needed, no outdoor space required

Parents who want something real but don't have time to plan it — open the envelope, everything's there

A gift that's not more stuff — meaningful, flat, letterbox-friendly, and something a child will actually use

WHAT'S IN EVERY LETTER

Each month's Letter contains three things:

An Irish folklore story — connected to the Irish seasonal calendar. Not a generic "nature story". A real piece of Irish tradition, retold for children aged 3–9.

A craft activity sheet — seasonal, simple, zero stress. Everything your child needs to know is on the page.

A recipe card — kid-friendly, seasonal, something to make together.

That's it. Nothing to source. Nothing to prep. Just open and go.

Postage is charged separately at checkout. Letterbox-friendly worldwide.

QUESTIONS

What's the difference between the Letter and the Garden Box? The Garden Box is a full monthly nature subscription for families in Ireland. Each box includes seeds, compost coins, a full-colour booklet, crafts, recipes and physical activities. When does it ship? Letters ship on or before 27th of each month, timed to arrive before the reveal on the 1st.

Does my child need a garden? Not at all. The Letter is designed for any home, any space.

What age is it for? Children aged 3–9. Crafts and recipes are written for little hands with a grown-up alongside.

Can I send it as a gift? Yes. Add your child's name at checkout and we'll personalise it for them.

What if I want to cancel? Cancel anytime through your account. No hoops, no awkward emails.
